Nominator's project description
| Professor Iwamoto is an eminently respected expert in the field of molecular main-group chemistry. His scientific work combines elegant and highly sophisticated synthetic approaches to unusual main-group compounds with in-depth studies on their reactivity and physical properties. In Germany he will expand his investigations on novel silicon compounds to elements such as boron and germanium with emphasis on application-oriented aspects in material science and catalysis. |
