| Professor Obeso is one of the most innovative clinical researchers in the field of invasive therapies for Parkinson’s disease (PD). He has made theoretical and practical contributions to the understanding of the brain’s basal ganglia as a hub for motor, cognitive, and emotional functions. Furthermore, he has strongly contributed to the development of deep brain stimulation and focused ultrasound of Parkinson’s disease.
