Nominator's project description
Dr. Artemieva is a distinguished scientist in the field of meteorite impact cratering. She is an international authority who has consistently made benchmark contributions to our understanding of environmental consequences and crater formation resulting from the strike of asteroids in the evolution of Earth and the planetary system by numerical modelling. During her stay in Germany, she will interact with scientists from different disciplines related to the overarching questions how impacts of cosmic bodies affect the evolution of planets, particularly Earth. |
