Nominator's project description
| Professor Pouliot is widely known for pioneering a new approach to global politics based on practice theory. His scholarship has been responsible for new methodological developments in qualitative and interpretative research. His research has been instrumental in developing and advancing several research themes, including on security communities, international hierarchy, multilateral diplomacy, and global policymaking. In Germany, he will work on hybrid global governance practices and their effect on the liberal international order’s ongoing transformations. |
