Nominator's project description
| Dr. Reid has played a major role in building the modern theory of totally disconnected locally compact (t.d.l.c.) groups, making a number of fundamental discoveries across all aspects of the theory. During his research stay in Germany, he will work on several questions for such groups, in particular from the perspective of model theory and descriptive set theory. |
