Nominator's project description
Professor Fang is well known internationally for his outstanding research in titanium metallurgy, hard metals, refractory metals and metal hydrides for hydrogen storage. Among all his achievements his most crucial accomplishment to date is the invention of a series of sophisticated titanium metallurgy technologies. During his stay in Germany, he intends to extend the application field to new alloy classes, to deepen the scientific knowledge in this topic and to develop collaborations with respect to commercial usage. |
