Nominator's project description
| Professor Lichterman is one of the most distinguished sociologists in the fields of ethnography and civic action. His outstanding research has addressed sociology’s theoretical and normative questions about civic action with a series of carefully crafted empirical studies that challenge some of the most prominent conceptual accounts in the discipline. During his stay in Germany, he continues his work on a monograph that examines white people’s practices of anti-racism in the United States of America. |
