Nominator's project description
Professor Bingsong Zou is well known internationally for his outstanding research on hadron spectroscopy and hadron structure. He is exceptionally strong in the intersection of theory and experiments with deep intuitive physical insights.
He has made important contributions for the prediction of Pc pentaquark states observed by LHCb experiments, and the discoveries of several new hadronic states, including sigma/f0(500), f0(1500), f0(1790), and some new excited nucleon states. Furthermore, he has been the Chinese co-spokesperson of the very successful Sino-German CRC110 on Symmetries, and the Emergence of Structure in QCD for 12 years.
In Germany he will continue to promote future Sino-German collaboration in a much broader range relevant to big nuclear and particle science facilities in both countries. |
