Nominator's project description
| Professor Sapiro is a pioneer in the field of literary sociology, combining in-depth historical studies with innovative methodological approaches. Working in the tradition of Pierre Bourdieu, she has made significant contributions to questions surrounding the connections between literature, law, and politics, and the social conditions underlying the international dissemination of literary and scholarly texts. In Germany, she will conduct archive research for her project “The Making of World Authorship”. |
