Nominator's project description

Professor Hoffmann is a world renown solid state experimental physicists in the field of magnetism and spintronics. His groundbreaking research in microwave spin-electronics, spin-current generation and skyrmion magnetic texture generation has opened novel paths towards topological magnetic computing. During his stay in Germany, Professor Hoffmann will be working with several experimental groups to explore novel topological magnetic texture generation in emergent quantum materials.
