Nominator's project description

Prof. Firstenberg is an internationally known experimental physicist in the field of nonlinear quantum optics. He has made pioneering contributions on the interaction of light and matter at the most fundamental level, the photon and atom level with profound implications on quantum technology. In Germany, he is interested in contributing to and joining experiments on nonlinear quantum optics based on trapped atoms and more.
