Nominator's project description
| Professor Guazzelli is well known internationally for her outstanding research in fluid mechanics, with a particular focus on complex fluids. She has made important contributions to particulate multiphase flows and sedimentation processes. Professor Guazzelli combines experimental and modeling techniques with intuitive physical insight to analyze granular flows. During her stay in Germany, she intends to investigate the transitional flow regimes of sheared dense suspensions and their transient response behavior. |
