Nominator's project description
| Professor Hideki Yorimitsu is internationally recognized for his innovative contributions to organic synthesis. He pioneered skeletal editing of stable heteroaromatic rings into distinct frameworks, enabling breakthroughs in synthesizing bioactive compounds and functional organic materials. He also developed innovative methods for constructing high-value molecules through electron transfer into simple unsaturated substrates. During his stay in Germany, he will further advance synthetic methodologies utilizing heteroatoms and organometallics. |
