Nominator's project description
| Professor Stellacci is internationally renowned for his work in materials and nanoscience that led to applications in environmental protection and in medicine. Recently, he has focused on sustainability, exploring innovative methods inspired by natural processes to recycle protein-based materials, for example from food waste. During his stay in Germany, he will extend these approaches to create innovative materials with superior properties that can be fully recycled into new forms at the end of their use. |
