Nominator's project description
| Professor Chernikov is well-known internationally for his outstanding contributions to model theory. With his research, he expands the foundations of the area to a wide range of mathematics, in particular groups and geometries. During his stay in Germany, he intends to explore the notion of distality in combinatorial structures to obtain new dichotomies along the lines of Hrushovski and Zilber. |
