Nominator's project description
| Professor Philippe David Schlenker is an internationally leading linguist with groundbreaking contributions not only to the study of spoken languages, but also to sign languages, music, gesture, and animal communication. His work focuses on formal rigor to uncover non-superficial commonalities. During his stay in Germany, he will explore iconicity, language evolution and multimodal rhetorics. |
