Nominator's project description
| Professor Beaman is a worldwide leading sociologist in the field of religion and law, religious diversity and nonreligion in Western societies. With the concept of “deep equality” she has developed a strengths-based approach to diversity. During her stay in Germany, she will work on the extension of her previous work to non-Western contexts and the topic of relocation of religious authority outside of religious organizations. |
