The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is now offering a new funding format with its Humboldt Research Professorships programme.
This complements the offerings within the framework of the Global Minds Initiative Germany financed by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR).
Universities and non-university research institutions affiliated with universities are given the freedom to integrate top talent from abroad into their institutions.
The decisive advantage: Humboldt Research Professors can continue their own professorship or working group in their country of origin. This funding award thus creates scope to make offers to top talent from internationally competitive research fields. They are given the opportunity to establish themselves at a German institution with their research.
Would you like to learn more about the programme or do you already have a colleague in mind whom you would like to see at your institution? Join our online event and get first-hand information about the programme and the nomination process.
