Nominator's project description

Professor Jean J. du Plessis is one of the most well known researchers in the field of corporate law. As a comparative researcher he is a unique expert of German law of corporations. His enthusiasm to put German corporate governance principles in international and European context is outstanding. With his international experience, he accentuates some of the best practices worldwide and explores these further through collaborative research. As a bridge builder between Germany and other jurisdictions he will be expected to leave a significant mark on German law of corporations as a result of long-term collaborations.
