Nominator's project description

Professor Chong Han is well known for his pioneering work on Terahertz (THz) communications. To unveil the THz channel peculiarities, he has established a high-performance THz channel measurement system and proposed a hybrid channel model. To combat the crucial distance limitation of THz communications, he has developed novel modulation and multi-antenna schemes. During his stay in Germany, he intends to elaborate on cross near- and far-field beamforming as well as integrated sensing and communication.
