The Humboldt Foundation has vowed to increase the diversity of its worldwide network of researchers and recognises that women researchers – in Germany and internationally – are faced with special challenges. With its 2021 Agenda für gelebte Vielfalt, the Foundation created a framework for actively promoting diversity in the science system. We particularly want to spark the enthusiasm of female hosts, who have striven to build their own careers and act as role models, in the Humboldt Foundation’s programmes.

If you lead a research group at a university or non-university research institute in Germany and would like to make it more international, you could become a Humboldt Foundation host and actively recruit tomorrow’s top talents for your group! With a prestigious international reputation, the Humboldt Foundation’s multifaceted portfolio of programmes has helped to create a worldwide network of excellent researchers since 1953.

If you would like to learn more about the programmes and discover the full benefits of hosting, come to our online event where you can get information on the programmes and application procedures at first hand.

Use this link to participate in the information event. You are also welcome to forward the link to others – staff at research institutions and universities who are keen to achieve gender equality in science are also most welcome.
