In order to intensify academic collaborations with members of the Humboldt Network abroad or in Germany, Feodor Lynen alumni as well as recipients of JSPS and NSTC (Taiwan) Research Fellowships are eligible for the sponsorship opportunities outlined below.

Members of the Humboldt Network abroad or in Germany do not necessarily have to have hosted the alumni during their first research stay. The Humboldt Foundation welcomes a decision by Feodor Lynen Fellows to go to collaborative partners in developing countries and emerging economies.

Alumni of the Feodor Lynen, JSPS and NSTC (Taiwan) Research Fellowship Programmes, who are permanently working abroad or have a tenured position at a research institution abroad, are eligible to apply for sponsorship of a research visit in Germany. Academic hosts during a stay in Germany do not necessarily have to be members of the Humboldt Network.
