The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is offering a new funding format with its Humboldt Research Professorships programme.
This complements the other funding opportunities within the framework of the Global Minds Initiative Germany financed by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR).
Universities, as well as non-university research institutions together with universities, are given the freedom to integrate top talent from abroad into their institutions.
The decisive advantage: Humboldt Research Professors can continue their own professorship or working group in their country of origin or switch completely to Germany – at any point during the funding.
