#HumboldtConcert: Advent concert of the Humboldt Foundation

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s traditional Advent Concert in Bonn is taking place again this winter. The Siebold-Saal will become a concert hall – and you can be present via livestream! The Eliot String Quartet will play works by Haydn, Shostakovich, and Beethoven. The Secretary General of the Humboldt Foundation, Dr. Markus Zanner, gives an annual review of the Foundation's activities. 

Programme (starting at 7 pm CET): 

Joseph Haydn: 
String Quartet in C-Dur, Op. 54, No. 2; Hob. III: 57 (1788) 

Dmitri Shostakovich: 
String Quartet No. 1 C-Dur, Op. 49 (1928) 

Ludwig van Beethoven: 
String Quartet No. 9 C-Dur, Op. 59, No. 3 (3. „Rasumowsky Quartet“, 1806)
