In the third selection round of the Henriette Herz Scouting Programme, 19 new scouts were selected for the Humboldt Network, including eight female scientists.

In the second round of the Henriette Herz Scouting Programme, a further 23 scouts, including 10 female researchers, were chosen to recruit talented individuals for the Humboldt Network. A total of 99 applications from 47 institutions were submitted. The selections made during this round included two scouts each from Universität Hamburg, LMU Munich and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

A reliable database is key to successfully developing the internationality of a university. The new indicator portal “HSI Monitor – Profile Data on the Internationality of Universities” enables universities in Germany to access a multitude of internationalisation indicators. The portal is a joint project of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK). It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
