Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Stucky is a highly creative scientist active in many fields. He is well known for his excellent early work on organometallic compounds, but has since then moved to other areas. He pioneered the use of zeolites as hosts for diverse functional molecules, contributed instrumentally to the understanding of biomineralization processes, and is among the world-leading scientists working on ordered mesoporous solids. This is also the topic of the joint research project, where such materials shall be developed towards advanced applications.
