Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Fu is a leading scientist in the areas of transition metal catalysis and organocatalysis. His contributions to enantioselective carbon-carbon bond formation by transition metals have taken the Nobel Prize winning work on cross-coupling chemistry to the next scientific level. He has constructed new organocatalysts, the selectivity of which matches those of enzymes. In Germany he will dedicate his research efforts to explore new ways for the activation of carbon-hydrogen bonds. |
