Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Dr. Andrey Gurtovenko is internationally well known for his outstanding research in theoretical polymer physics and computational biophysics. He has made significant contributions to the in silico modeling of defect-mediated trafficking across cell membranes. During his stay in Germany, he intends to pursue computational studies related to the interaction of various polycationic polymers with cell membranes, a problem of tremendous importance for the development of novel nano-sized vectors for gene and drug delivery.
