Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Popovic has worked on a number of ingenious projects in the area of electromagnetics, microwave and millimetre wave circuits and components. She has been deeply involved in the Quasi-Optical Spatial Power Combining based on grid structures and array configurations. Much of this work has been record-setting and is widely referenced. More recently, she has been working on non-linear high efficiency amplifiers for microwave wireless communications. She obtained extremely high operating efficiency in these amplifier configurations. This work has significantly contributed to the new generation of wireless communication.
