Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Dr. Alexei Filitov is the leading Russian expert on the Cold War and the "German question" in post-war Soviet foreign policy. He deserves particular praise for his thorough study and original interpretation of newly accessible documents in Russian archives. He will make use of the Award to continue research on East German-Soviet relations in their influence on Soviet foreign policy decisions. This will be done in a joint project with German colleagues in Bochum and Potsdam. |
