Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Dr. David Sanders is one of the leading astrophysicists in the inverstigation of the physics of active galactic nuclei and luminous infrared galaxies. For more than a decade he has carried ourt pioneering research in the evolution of luminous dustc galaxies and their relationship to qasars and galaxy mergers. His collaboration with the Max-Planck-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching will open up a new research program in exploring the evolution of infrared galaxies in the distant Univers. |
