Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Saleur is a physicist who works at the edge of quantum field theory and solid state physics. His main focus in the past few years has been the development of non-perturbative techniques to address transport in particular transport out of equilibrium, in strongly interacting systems. He has worked on many problems of high theoretical and experimental interest, including edge currents in frational quantum Hall devices, Kondo systems, quantum dots, and anderson impurties in transition metals. His work has brought rigorous mathematical methods to the pyhsics of electronis nanostructures. |
