Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Loos pioneered the field of enzymatic polymerizations, especially the biocatalytic synthesis of polysaccharides and polyamides and introduced complete green polymerization routes by using sustainable monomers. Another field of expertise to which Professor Loos has made a tremendous contribution is polyvinylidene difluorides containing electroactive block copolymers for energy creating and energy storage devices. In Germany she will focus on the development of new membrane materials based on biobased polymers and novel antifouling strategies taking advantage of electroactive polymers
