Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Stein is the leading authority on Rhenium-Osmium chronometry of the important industrial ore mineral Molybdenite. With the development and application of this technique she has made a major contribution to the fundamental understanding of the age, genesis and geodynamic significance of ore deposits world-wide. During her stay in Germany, Professor Stein will investigate granite-related ore deposits of the historically important, but scientifically complex, Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains).
