| Prof. Irina Podgorny of the University La Plata and the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) Professor Podgorny is an international authority in the history of knowledge and science in Latin America. She produced seminal studies on the history of scientific collections and museums in Argentina and Europe. Thus, she contributed decisively to make visible the Latin American production of knowledge and its transnational entanglements with Europe and the wider world. In Germany she will continue her new work on the bureaucracy of knowledge. Professor Podgorny is hosted by Professor Stefan Rinke from the Freie Universität Berlin. |
