Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor William B. Tolman is an outstanding scientist who has gained an excellent reputation in the field of bioinorganic and organometallic chemistry both in the United States and internationally - discovered a new motif in copper-oxygen chemistry that has changed the view of the possible mechanism for dioxygen production and activation in nature and catalysis. The objective of the proposed studies in Germany is to investigate the synthesis and catalytic properties of a new class of rhenium-copper complexes for application in industrial and biological oxidation reactions. |
