| Professor Volkamer is a leading expert in the fields of atmospheric chemistry and remote sensing. He has contributed to these fields with many new ideas and approaches, novel experimental methods, highly complex atmospheric measurement campaigns, and thorough analyses. Recently, he has led studies focusing on emissions from agriculture and biomass burning and their climate impact. In Germany, he continues working on the quantification of land-atmosphere and ocean-atmosphere exchange. |
