Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Sushkov is well known internationally for his research in quantum many-particle systems. His fields of activity include nuclear physics, atomic physics, and condensed matter physics. He has made important contributions to the theory of violations of fundamental symmetries, to the theory of neutron reactions, and to the theory of strongly correlated electron systems. During his stay in Germany, Professor Sushkov will continue to work on the physics of underdoped high temperature superconductors. Professor Sushkov is hosted by Professor Bernhard Keimer at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart and by Professor Juergen Haase at the University of Leipzig.
