Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Eiichi Nakamura has made significant contributions in the area of modern nano-material synthesis using efficient organometallic methodologies. Most spectacular results are in the area of carbon-rich materials such as fullerenes and carbon nanotubes with potential application for electronic device design. In addition, his studies in developing powerful organometallic reagents have contributed to the environmentally sustainable production of organic compounds such as pharmaceutical intermediates. During his stay at RWTH Aachen, Professor Nakamura will bring in his expertise to develop novel concepts in organometallic catalysis. |
