Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Nguyen is internationally well known for his outstanding research concerning the prefabrication of micro-vascular flaps for reconstructive surgery. His experimental studies have cleared up the physiological basis of the new approaches for the prefabrication of flaps. During his previous stay in Germany he investigated the combination of vascular integration from tissue engineering constructs in prefabrication flaps for plastic surgery. In the framework of his upcoming stay, Professor Nguyen will investigate new clinical strategies for the application of tissue engineering constructs in pre-clinical trials. Professor Nguyen is hosted by Professor Staudenmaier at Technische Universität München, Klinikum rechts der Isar. |
