Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Zemb is an international authority in colloid science. His work is distinguished by thorough and detailed experiments complemented by theory. He has developed sophisticated scattering techniques to resolve the structure of complex fluids and has worked out a self-assembly method to construct nanocontainers trom surfactants. During his stay in Germany he will focus on sonochemistry, ions at interfaces and ion separation with emulsions, key topics of collaboration with the institute of separation chemistry in Marcoule, France, that he is leading. |
