Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Klironomos is internationally known for his research in plant and soil ecology, focusing particularly on mycorrhizal fungi. In his research he emphasizes empirical tests of plant-soil interactions and their significance for terrestrial ecosystems. He has contributed important insights into the mechanisms responsible for shaping ecological communities, including the role of invasive species. During his stay in Germany he is continuing his research on invasive plant species and plant-soil interactions. |
