Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Yazdani is an internationally leading expert in scanning tunneling spectroscopy of complex materials. He is widely recognized for his seminal contributions to research on unconventional superconductors, topological insulators, and metal-insulator transitions. Professor Yazdani also develops advanced new instrumentation for atomic-scale measurements. In Germany, he will work on collaborative projects combining scanning probes, complementary spectroscopic methods, and theory to develop a comprehensive description of different quantum materials. |
