| Professor Chunhai Fan is internationally recognized for establishing the paradigm of DNA self-assembly-directed biosensing and drug delivery, and for developing transformative tools for biomolecular computation and information storage. His work has fundamentally advanced nucleic acids as programmable materials at the interface of nanotechnology and life sciences.
During his stay in Germany, he will pursue collaborative research on DNA-based functional systems, with a focus on the physical principles of molecular information processing and emergent behavior in soft matter. |
