| Professor Suzuki is highly reputed for his contributions in synthetic organic chemistry and has made important discoveries that now allow the preparation of biologically active, pharmaceutically relevant molecules and natural products in a highly efficient manner. His approach towards synthesis and catalysis combines mechanistic insight with experimental expertise and thereby exemplifies top-level molecular science. In Germany, Professor Suzuki will be involved in the synthesis of natural products as well as the development of new organocatalysts and their applications. Professor Suzuki is hosted by Professor Reiser at the University of Regensburg and by Professor Bolm at RWTH Aachen University. |
