Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Lazarian is a most renowned scientist in the field of magneto-hydrodynamic turbulence and its astrophysical applications. His research focuses on the properties of astrophysical magnetic fields, their interaction with turbulent plasma, and their implications for the physical state of the interstellar medium, cosmic ray propagation and the solar wind. During his visit to Germany, he and his hosts will apply some of his newly developed analysis tools to recent astrophysical and geophysical data. |
