| Professor Wu is a world renowned physicist for his outstanding research in superconductivity. He made the breakthrough discovery of the first material, which exhibits a superconducting transition above the boiling temperature of liquid nitrogen. He has also made major contributions to the field of the new Fe-based superconductors. During his stay in Germany, he intends to examine in more detail the mechanism responsible for superconductivity in the Fe-chalcogenide system that he has recently discovered. |
