Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Krishnan is well known internationally for his expertise in elucidating structure property relations in a wide range of magnetic and spintronics materials. He has made seminal contributions to biomedical nanomagnetics, focusing on the development and optimization of engineered magnetic nanoparticles for imaging, diagnostics and therapy. In Germany, Professor Krishnan focuses on the optimization of nanomagnetic materials for biomedical applications and on the understanding of a new class of materials, the so-called magnetic MAX phases.
