Dr. Kopin Liu is one of the world-leading experts in the field of chemical reaction dynamics. Through the development and application of novel experimental techniques, his research has elucidated chemical reactivity of benchmark systems in unprecedented detail. He has clarified the nature of mode-specific and bond-selective chemistry through pair-correlation measurements. In Germany, he will give his expert input to ongoing scattering experiments with molecular beams with a tuneable velocity. Dr. Kopin Liu is hosted by Professor Gerard Meijer at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin.
