Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Jamie J. Kruzic is one of the leading researchers in the world on the fracture and fatigue of materials. He has made significant contributions to an impressive breadth of fields, including bulk metallic glasses, ceramics, high temperature metallic and intermetallic alloys, biomaterials and biological materials, such as bone and teeth. During his stay in Germany, he intends to study multiple shear band formation and crack bifurcation to better understand fracture and fatigue in bulk metallic glasses.
